My name is Anita and I can provide tender and loving pet care for your pet(s). I have grown up with a variety of pets and have never been without a pet of some description, so I am experienced with cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, goldfish, tropical fish and would be happy to care for mice and pet rats too. No experience with exotic pets though. I would be happy to look after small birds (budgies and canaries and similar). I really enjoy dog walking and am fortunate to live near the beach and a country park, so have lots of space nearby for walkies. Currently I have no pets of my own after a recent loss of a dog and then being involved with caring for a relative, so I have lots of love to give pets missing their owners. If you need someone to walk your dog, feed your cat or dog or small animal while on holiday, please get in touch. Your pet will be showered with affection and well exercised while in my care.
After working for over thirty years as a nurse, I have decided that now I would prefer to look after animals. I love being with animals and have a passion for all kinds of animals, pets or wildlife. I am patient and gentle with all animals and sensitive to the needs of more timid pets, yet big enough and strong enough to deal with those a bit more boisterous! I am licensed for dog boarding by Tendring District Council. Trained in Canine Care, Training and Management at Writtle University College in 2018. Dog First Aid trained. Level 2 dog grooming trained 2019. I am very happy to discuss your pet(s) needs and see if I can meet your expectations. I can do dog and cat sitting, dog walking and boarding, cat care and small animal care. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your pet! Informal enquiries welcome. Happy to have a chat so you can find out more about me before you decide to book the care you need.
Recieved lovely photos of all the animals along with updates very much appreciated.
Thankyou so much
Anita is an absolute gem and we feel very lucky to have found her! Anita’s attentiveness is superb, her manner friendly and warm. Lottie and Ziggy have clearly been very well looked after! Lottie often doesn’t eat for the first night we are away but she ate every scrap with Anita looking after her so there was an obvious bond and trust. Communication was great and we enjoyed the photos and updates! We have been totally happy with our experience of Anita house sitting and have booked for her to return in May and again in August.
