About Danu the Pet Au Pair
I am a 46-year old woman, single without children. Full DBS Certificate. I am available for local visits to feed cats and dogs and give dogs their walks in Exeter. I am also very experienced staying in people's homes with their pets so that there is minimal disruption for the pets whose routine stays as normal, with lots of snuggles!
I am a responsible and reliable house and pet sitter with lots of experience with animals and minding homes and great references (I can email these to you). I love animals, and have a wonderful affinity with cats and dogs as well as smaller pets. I have had cats, dogs, rats, hamsters and gerbils around me all my life! I understand their communication very well. I have experience with anxious animals who relax with me very quickly. I have now gained experience with horses too but prefer them to be gentle ones! On a recent pet sit I even herded the neighbour's lambs!
I will treat your home very respectfully keeping it clean and well looked after, attending to bins and other tasks as instructed.
This supports my wanderlust and love of exploring the south west. There is so much world to see, and I am so lucky to be able to be a petsitter in this beautiful area where there is breathtaking scenery everywhere. I am often available at short notice and am very flexible with dates. For longterm sits I can do any light errands required of me in your absence. I do not drink or smoke and am a vegan (no problems feeding animals meat, don't worry!). I love hiking but am unfit at present due to an injury. I am a freelance writer and am studying to be a counsellor.
