My name is Lee and I have lived in Ferndown for a little over 10 years. For many years my husband and I have been dedicated dog owners and we have a wide variety of experience with different breeds including Pugs, Boxers, Labradors, Mixtures, Spaniels, Terriers and Sight Hounds. We offer dog boarding, in our home with its large enclosed garden. I am happy to take your dog in whilst you are on holiday, or just for single days as needed. I can offer your dog a high level of supervision as, apart from the odd supermarket shop, I am at home during the day. Your dog will not be left unsupervised for more than an hour in any day and will share our home as one of the family. They will be immediately accepted by our two friendly neutered female pugs, who both thoroughly enjoy having visitors. We only board from one family at a time so your dog gets our undivided attention. Only my husband and I live here and dogs boarding with us will receive a minimum of two thirty minute walks per day, in good weather the back door to the garden is always open and guest dogs also have use of our large conservatory which seems a very popular place to snooze. Walks are usually 30 minutes but can be longer if required. For safety your dog will only be walked on a lead and I will not walk other dogs at the same time, its a one on one walking service. When boarding with us they will also have regular supervised garden time - off the lead. The garden is very safe with high gates and fences. Guest dogs sleep in our combined kitchen and dining area downstairs with our two pugs. They can also be monitored remotely by our kitchen cctv if we hear any disturbance during the night. I look forward to meeting you and your dog, I like the first meeting to be in a walking area - I will include a meet and greet with our dogs so that they start to become familiar. After that I will invite you to my home to view the accommodation and facilities. Please note I will only board dogs that are fully vaccinated, chipped and neutered. Your dog also needs to be comfortable being social with other dogs. We prefer to take single dogs but can consider a maximum of two if they are mature and calm. Thank you.
