I was born into a pet loving family. From my earliest memories we had always had a dog and/or cat. Plus many more e.g. mice, gerbils, hamsters, rats, budgies, guinea pigs, rabbits & a garter snake. I love animals but not bugs but having said that I would love to have the chance to hold a tarantula :) While I was of school age I had the responsibility of 2 dogs and had to feed and walk them. Sheba was already an adult when we rescued her and Judy was one of her pups born in our house. Both of a labrador mix (or heinz lol) heritage. When I got my own home I thought very hard about getting a dog but thought it unfair for it to be left home alone for most of the day as I was in full time employment. Therfore I got my 1st cat Pepper. A year later a 2nd cat Cleo. And not being as 'on the ball' with neutering with the 2nd cat 18 months later I saw and helped with the delivery of 5 healthy kittens. My local vet even adopted one and I kept a little boy (born breech) named Dippy. Thus called as he was mainly white but his tail looked like it had been dipped in ink right up to his bottom. Sadly all have now passed away the last being Dippy 11 years old who passed Oct '17 after a long fight with aneamia. Therefore I'm a dab hand at administering meds. My partner and I are now pet free and live in a lovely home with an enclosed back garden and only 10 mins walk from the Basingstoke Canal and Frimley Lodge Park. It is with great regret that I'm going to have to admit to getting old and not being as strong as I used to be. Younger large breed dogs still in the training process I have realised are too much for me to fully control when they get boisterous. So any future bookings I'm sadly saying no thank you to until they are fully grown & trained in their manners :-) .
I trust Tracy with my dogs
I am so grateful to Tracy for the way she looked after my dog, Chester. From initial communication to picking him up after my holiday, everything was straight forward and easy and I was able to enjoy my time away safe in the knowledge that Chester was having a lovely time too. I received regular photos of him playing games and snuggling on the sofa and could tell by his happy and relaxed demeanor when I collected him that he had been very well cared for and enjoyed his stay. I wouldn't hesitate to have Tracy look after Chester again and highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to take care of your special friend if you are going away. Thank you Tracy!
