Hello! I'm an American that is relatively new to the Glasgow area, and thought signing up as a petsitter would be a great way to make some additional income as I navigate my life in this new city. Having grown up with 2 dogs and 5 cats, and the current owner of a formerly feral cat, I am a huge animal lover and am hoping for the opportunity to extend that love to other pets. Cats are my preferred animal, but I have extensive experience petsitting cats, dogs (both large and small), and rodents, but am comfortable looking after other pets as well.
My previous experience entailed standard home visits just to check in on pets, as well as providing extended play time, cleaning litter boxes, and going on dog walks. I am comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages - I most recently looked after a litter of foster kittens. Additionally, my own cat is FIV+, so I am comfortable looking after pets that may need medication administration or other illness-related accomodations. Further, I have no restrictions when it comes to dog size, either, and have worked with a variety of breeds, including American Pitbull Terriers, German Shepherds, and Rottweilers.
I am currently employed full time but my work takes me out into the community with lenient hours, so I am quite flexible with my time and open to providing your pet with whatever care is needed, whether that is a simple daily check-in or an extended visit for playtime/walking/socialization. Because I have a cat of my own, I am unable to do overnight stays nor can I take any pets inside my home.
In addition to the financial support that petsitting provides, I am also just generally eager and happy to interact and care for other animals.

Taylor did two home visits to my two cats. One of my cats takes medication which Taylor did really well. She sent me pictures of them and a wee message which really reassured me as it was my first time leaving them overnight since one of them started on his medication.
I'd recommend Taylor for cat sitting and would definitely love to use her services again!
Taylor did a great job of looking after my cat for 8 days. She was excellent at communicating and sent me regular updates. I came back to a very happy cat :)
