Pet Care Experience:
I have had dogs, cats, and horses as family pets since I was very young and absolutely adore any and all types of animals! We have a 13-year old dog named Lola that sadly has been unable to fly from the US following our move due to Covid restrictions, and we are missing her terribly. Seeing dogs and interacting with other people's pets while we're out is a consolation and keeps us going while we are missing her. Pet sitting and walking is a wonderful way for me to shower your pet with the love they deserve while you're away, and I'll always treat them as if they were my own!
Schedule:
I am currently not working while I go about obtaining my nursing license in the UK (I was an RN in the US), and my husband works from home completing his PhD so your dog will not be left alone during their stay. We are very active people so enjoy getting outside.
Boarding+Daycare Services/Environment:
My husband and I (only occupants of the household) live in a city centre flat and do not have a yard. Our space is ideal for smaller to medium-sized dogs (although I would love to take them all!). We have ample walking space and park access nearby so walks/outdoor engagement will be abundant if desired. Our senior dog, Lola, has not yet been able to fly over from the United States, so there are no other dogs in the home allowing for your fur baby to receive 1-1 time and attention. I am also happy to take 2 dogs from the same household at the same time since they will be a shanties and bonded. During their stay, a minimum of 4 walks will be provided ranging from a minimum of 10 minutes to however long your dog would like or require. I understand each dog is unique, thus, exercise/activity can be tailored to suit them. For overnight stays, we are flexible with sleeping arrangements (in or out of our room/dog bed/crate, etc)- just let me know what your pet prefers. We do, however, try to keep 4-legged friends off of the couch :)
Cats are welcome for boarding as well.
Activities:
I love to see dogs happy and excited, so I am happy to do whatever that is! We live centrally, so have access to lots of sites and sounds. The canal walk, Glasgow Green, and Kelvingrove Park are great go-to park spaces. Dog park visits can also be arranged for social pups.
Important Info:
For boarding, it is important that your dog is house broken or has a toileting routine. Outside of this, I am happy to accommodate most needs/preferences your pet may have- just let me know!
In-Home Services:
For walking services, I offer 30 minute walks with some additional time spent providing company to your dog in the home as needed for a maximum stay of up to 1 hour. I am happy to feed/water as needed during this time as well. My availability includes mornings, afternoons and evenings.
For house-sitting, I am able to stay in the home during the day for the time preferred by the pet owner. Again, I am flexible and happy to meet both you and your pet's needs while you are away.
I am comfortable with baths and administering oral medications- happy to accomodate these needs if required.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
