Hi there! My name is Caoimhe (pronounced kweeva), I'm 26 years old, and I'm from Ireland. I moved to Glasgow about 18 months ago after my partner and I both fell in love with the city.
I grew up in the west of Ireland, a 10 minute walk from the sea, surrounded by fields. Growing up I had alot of different pets - dogs, cats, hamsters and some fish! With my partner I have had rabbits and now a cat, Max! My family dog is named Johnny and lives back in Ireland.
I studied both animal care and animal science back in Ireland. I have always loved animals, from a young age, and I really wanted to learn more how to care for them and learn more about them. In school my favourite subject was biology, so being able to study animal science really was the best of both worlds for me!
I live in the southside of Glasgow, practically next door to Queen's Park, and very close to Pollok Park, where I can walk your pooch when you're busy working. If you are wanting a wee holiday and need someone to just pop in to your house to feed and spend time with your dog / cat / fish / lizard, or you are wanting more security and peace of mind and would prefer to have someone stay overnight in your home then please don't hesitate to contact me :)
Caoimhe visited our flat to look after our cat for a few days while we were away. She provided a great service and we would definitely use her again in the future.
Caoimhe is awesome. She looked after Murphy for two nights and was great, even with Murph's dodgey stomach! She left the flat just as she found it and replied straight away to any texts. We are booking her again for this week as she is so lovely. Thanks Caoimhe!
Some areas of animal care and animal science I studied include: Animal Behaviour, Animal Science, Small animal husbandry and housing, and many more! I also studied Animal Grooming, so I can offer services in brushing your dog and trimming their coat.
