Hello! 

I'm a freelance journalist based in Glasgow. I am a private renter and am currently not in a position to own a pet but I adore animals! I grew up with two cats and always love meeting people's pets and giving them lots of attention. 

Before I moved to Glasgow, I lived with a flat mate who owned a rescue greyhound. We built a bond quickly and I would regularly take her for walks and look after her while my flat mate was away. I've also looked after my partner's brother's dog- a Hungarian Vizsla - a number of times. There are a few dogs and cats in my building and I love bumping into them for a quick hello and a pat. I was asked to look after Ivy, the brown lab in the flat accross when my neighbours had to nip out for an emergency, and every time I see her, I get lots of tail wags and head rubs on my legs! 

While I can't offer my own home for pet sitting, I'm more than happy to look after cats, dogs, guinea pigs, you name it, in their home. I can provide references and a clean background check. I also have a full driving license and my own car so can travel (within reason). 

I would treat any animal in my care as if they were my own and do my very best to make them feel happy, comfortable & safe. x
