About Yuyang
Hi, I'm a PhD student in physics. I'm 27 years old. I’ve had dogs and cats at home since I was a child (at one point, I had as many as three dogs). After becoming a PhD student living alone in the UK, I’ve been struggling to live without them. I only spend a lot of time watching dog videos on tiktok now. It’s hard for a temporary student like me to own a dog in a foreign country, but I hope to become a pet sitter so I can see their cute smiles again. I now rent a large flat around Kelvingrove Park, which is perfect for having a dog, walking, and resting. As a hiking enthusiast, I’m amazed by the beautiful hiking spots around Glasgow. If I can take care of someone else’s dog, I can also fulfill my dream of wandering in the wild, exploring nature with a furry friend by my side! I’m happy to take care of all kinds of dogs, even multiple at once. I’m strong and have plenty of experience walking large dogs, so you can rest assured they’ll be in good hands.
I offer dog boarding/walking/day care and house sitting. Although I don’t have much experience with medication or specialized training, I can teach dogs physics! By the way, I start to learn dog training recently, hopefully, I can help you correct yours behavior problem for free. However, I want to know every behavior problem of your puppy so I can be prepared. (For example, some dogs don't think itself as a dog!)
I basically have a flexible schedule, I can work from home and arrange the schedule by myself. So I can spend all the service days with the dogs, whether at home or enjoying outdoor activities. But sometimes I will go to university to deal with somehing affairs and definitely come back in 4 hours. I can board up to three dogs at a time when all of them should behave very well.
Also I can take dogs to the countryside and go hiking with them. Typically, I walk three times per day, one of the them will take more than 1 hours . Anyway, based on the requirement. At weekends I can take them to the wild places all day. I have Go pro which is designed to capture evey execellent moment of dogs, just lack a dog now! So welcome the energetic children!
My apartment is spacious, allowing the guest dogs to roam freely in my room and common areas like the living room and kitchen. I also have a roommate who loves animals, and she has a pet quail. Our building is near the biggest city park——Kelvingrove in Glasgow, very nice and ideal place for dog walking. We don't have garden but Kelvingrove is our garden!
Leave your children to me, come back with physics knowledge!
(Besides, I would love to have a long time contact with parents of hounds/retrievers/collies/spaniels, if you are also interested in hiking or canicross)
