Hi, my name is Miriam and I am a third year Biology student at the University of Glasgow. I grew up in a small town in Italy with many, many, many cats in my house to take care of. On top of that, I spent a summer on a Swedish farm looking after a pack of huskies and occasionally donkeys. My duties included taking the dogs out for long walks in the forest, feeding them and cleaning after them.
I love spending time with animals and taking good care of them. Their happiness never fails to bring a smile on my face. Daily contact with animals is one of the things I miss the most when I am in Glasgow, which is why I would be happy to devote some of my free time to pet sitting.
My services involve walking, feeding, playing and some light grooming. I am a very active person which is why taking your pet out to a park for a nice, long outdoor play is a thing you can count on. I cannot, unfortunately, have a pet in my flat but I am happy to spend time with your dog/ cat at the owner's place. As a student, I am flexible and have no problems with last minute arrangements. I am a very respinsible and reliable person so you can be sure that your pet is in good hands.
Miriam popped in to look after my cat and kitten for a couple of days whilst I was out of town. Right away, I could tell she was an animal lover! She listened to all directions, including working with a tricky lock on the door! She also sent pictures and updates of my cats to put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend Miriam and she will be my go-to whenever I need another cat-sitter.
