I am a full-time student at UCD (I'm studying to become a librarian), and I'm looking to get a few pet-sitting/dog-walking jobs for some extra pocket money and so I can spend time with animals, which is always lovely! I have no pets of my own at the moment. I've had cats in the past, but I do also really love dogs - I am currently minding a beautiful, rambunctious Irish red setter. My last cat, Merlin, was spoiled rotten and basically owned the house! Ideally, I'd love to have a cat and dog of my own one day, maybe a few fish too.
As I am a full-time student, pet-sitting is an excellent option for me. If I mind your pet, they are guaranteed to have my full-attention and love.
I won't have pets in my own home ( it's a rented property) but I can mind pets in other people's homes for short and long term duration. I do need pets to have been vaccinated (eg, no feral cats).
I can walk pets, feed them etc, that's no problem. I am happy to water plants and perform necessary/urgent household tasks. I do need to know if there is more than one pet or if your pet has health issues so I can modify how I mind them :) I'd preferably find some pet minding jobs in my neighbourhood or in the UCD area. However, as I cycle everywhere, I'm happy to cycle a little further afield.
