Hey y'all!
James Herriot is my hero and so I've decided to uproot my entrire life and move to Glasgow for my veterinary studies. Originally from Seattle, I recently graduated from Washington State University (GO COUGS!) with a Bachelors in Animal Science and a focus on veterinary medicine. I now study Veterinary Medicine at the University of Glasgow's School of Veterinary Medicine (dreams really do come true!).
My experience is concentrated in exotic animal husbandry and medicine so if you have a small furry, scaly, or feathered friend, I'm your gal! Though my flatmate does have a cat (Sammy), he is not allowed in my room and I can ensure the safety of your animal. I've grown up owning and fostering all sorts of animals and have always had dogs and cats around; so I can promise that I know what I'm doing.
I can also care for dogs and cats as Sammy has shown to be able to get along with any animal that stays with us over breaks/holidays. Vet students have a page for placing pets when we go home.
Who better to turn to than a vet student with a degree in Animal Science and thousands of hours put into clinical/husbandry work with animals?
I am starting my first year soon and so my schedule will not be very intensive. I have periodic breaks throughout the day and am always finished in the early afternoon. Plenty of time to spend with your loved one.
