I am a final year Veterinary Medicine student from Italy with a big passion for animals.
I graduated in Animal Science in 2017 from Kansas State University and then moved to Glasgow to study Veterinary Medicine. I have previously worked in a small animal clinic for two years in the US and done a veterinary internship with dairy cattle in Italy. Besides dogs and cats, I have also learned how to take care of exotic animals, in fact, I have volunteered and worked in two zoos in the US and in Ireland. During my Veterinary Medicine course, I have been gaining more and more clinical experience with dogs, cats, and exotic species.
I currently live in the Anniesland area, sharing a flat with my boyfriend. We have nine amazing pet rats (Artemis, Callisto, Nyx, Kokomo, Rosemary, Ivy, Clover, Juniper, and Clementine) that keep me company during studying, and a cuddly three-legged dog named Cindy. Since Cindy is a rescue, she is lovely with people but can be grumpy with other dogs during their first meeting. I have been training and socializing her and now she does much better. She has successfully made friendships with the past dogs I have taken care of and truly enjoys sleeping and playing with her buddies. Basically, Cindy is my little petsitting helper.
I have been pet sitting for more than 5 years and I truly enjoy meeting new people, especially if they share my same love for animals. I love taking care of any critter, no matter if they are furry or scaly, making sure they stay happy and healthy. I will try to work around my school schedule and free time, so please, ask me what service you would like to have and I will get back to you as soon as I can!
Took Brilliant Care of my boys, would recommend
Chiara was great, she sent us lovely pictures of our bunny and updates while we were away, to put our mind at ease. We came back to a happy bunny, we would be more than happy for her to look after our pet again!
