I am a focused, hard-working student that has loved animals from a young age. I have grown up with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, horses, sheep, rabbits and chickens. I currently study veterinary medicine and I am looking to make an income during my studies. Unfortunatly, I am not able to pet-sit in my current residence however, I do not mind pet-sitting in your home, which may be benefical for your pet as they will be in their place of comfort. Personally, I see pet sitting as an opportunity to broaden my experience in handling animals and better understanding their behaviour. Secondly, I feel being able to learn from and communicate with pet owners effectively can help improve myself as a future vet and as a person. Finally, I believe that pet health, including their mental well-being, is extremely important especially when being a pet-sitter as it is my job to keep your pet happy and mentally stimulated.
I have previous experience with pets of my own and very recently did an internships at a dog boarding kennel/day-care. There, I worked with a huge variety of different dog breeds including, Mastiffs, Labradors, Terriers, Spaniels and Shih Tzus.
