As all pet owners would agree, a life with a pet has an extra glitter of joy, love and affection. Through my life, I have closely experienced the happiness a dog, an aquarium, a turtle, an iguana and a horse can give, all in their own special way. After moving to University where I studied Marine Biology and Art, my time availability and housing situation would prevent me from having any pets. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in Marine Biology, at the University of Glasgow. Rescuing a dog from a shelter is a constant thought of mine but, because I would have to travel a few times in the year and spend long hours in the lab, I can not commit to having my own dog.

With that said, I am looking forward to taking care of your beloved pet when I know I have the time availability to commit. Especially now, with the work-from-home flexibility I believe I can give him/her the love and attention he/she deserves. My greatest experience is with dogs, I have not had any course on dog training but, I have plenty of experience by training my own dogs (labradors, akita-pittpull mix,basset hound) and giving dog advice to friends of mine. I live at an apartment at the West End of Glasgow very close to the Kelvin Grove Park where we can go for walks and play. There is also a small enclosed yard at my building complex where we could spend time outside too. I base the walk/sleep/food schedule based on what the dogs are used to. In the flat, dogs are allowed to roam and get on the couch (if permitted by their parent) but I prefer that they don’t get on my bed. I can accomodate maximum of 2 dogs at a time but only from one pet owner (no multiple bookings)! Additionally, I do have experience with providing dogs aural and eye medication.
