For more than ten years now I have dedicated a bulk of my time caring for domestic and wild animals. The relevant experience of sitting for companion animals started in 2017 formally and has been something I have done annually since then. I have been looking after Maine Coon cats during the vacation months for a family on the Isle of Wight (a friend of mine), but not only their cats, their rescue hens, as well as a bunny rabbit.

Following on from this annual pet sitting vacation to the island I was lead into couriering Maine Coon kittens to new homes throughout the UK including to the Isle of Man. I have couriered for a Maine Coon breeder of 35 years experience and all the cats I have transported have flourished in their new homes.

In my childhood years I spent a lot of time around animals. My parents kept dogs and rabbits and one cat (Lady). It was however after I had left home and went to university that I got passionate about caring for wildlife in particular. In 2016 I started to handle pigeons who had string caught around their feet and I would detangle them. This for me become a pastime during the period of lockdowns in height of the coronavirus pandemic.
