- I want to be a pet sitter because caring for animals brings me genuine joy and a sense of purpose. I’ve always loved spending time with pets, learning their personalities, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Being a pet sitter allows me to combine my passion for animals with my love of movement and exploration. I enjoy walking around, discovering new paths, and turning even simple outings into small adventures. Whether it’s a peaceful walk through the neighborhood or a lively trek along a trail, I love sharing those moments with a furry companion by my side. Each pet I care for becomes a little part of my world, and I take pride in giving them attention, affection, and fun experiences. Pet sitting isn’t just a job for me—it’s a meaningful way to connect with animals and bring joy to their daily lives. I've had two dogs one was a chiwawa and the other was a frenchie. I love taking them out for walks and getting out and about around my home town. The dogs I prefer to walk are mainly smaller and medium sized because they are easier to manage. My experience with walking dogs is quite low, however I have had loads of pets in my lifetime coming from guinea pigs, to bearded dragons and hamsters. I have always had a loving relationship with animals and I'm ready to take on a big step to looking after your most precious possessions. I take a calm, respectful approach to every dog I care for, making sure they feel safe, understood, and comfortable. I always follow the owner’s routines—like feeding times, walk schedules, and any special instructions—so each dog feels at home. I pay close attention to their body language and energy level, adjusting play, rest, and activities to match their needs. Safety is always my priority, so I keep a secure environment, use proper leashing, and stay alert during walks and playtime. With me, pet owners can expect reliable communication, gentle handling, and a dog who feels cared for every step of the way.
