Hi, I’m Rachel, I'm 56 and a lifelong animal lover and pet parent. I know how hard it can be to find just the right person to care for your fur baby. Someone trustworthy and reliable, who understands how important those update pics are and who quenuinely enjoys spending time with your furry - or feathery - family member.

Having been raised around animals, and had a family of my own, I have run the full guantlet of domestic pets. From cats and dogs, chickens, ducks and rabbits, gerbils to guinea pigs, goldfish and the occassional goat. I’ve loved caring for them all with humour, kindness, patience and affection. 

Currently I am the happy owner of a now ancient rescue cat and a romanian rescue dog. Over the years all our cats have been rescued, so I'm well versed in adapting to, and accomodating, personalities. Every pet has their quirks and needs, and it gives me great pleasure to get to know and understand them, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe and well loved. 

Our previous pup was a lively labrador which gave me an oportunity to attend gundog training. We went for several years, so I have experience in keeping an active brain entertained and orderly. I am happy to do training reinforcement if requested.
