I am a dedicated pet owner of two large-breed dogs, and have worked in a veterinary clinic for the past 5 years as an animal care assistant, also completing a qualification in animal care (including behaviour and medicating). My husband is a qualified vet of 10 years, and we have successfully bred and reared two litters of Golden Retrievers. We regularly sit, walk and care for the pets of friends and family, both in their homes and ours. 

Being a pet owner, we are aware of the need for flexibility in needs, booking and scheduling, and I am keen to help in any way I can.

I am currently transitioning away from full-time work, with the intention for pet care to become a full-time commitment for me. My husband is also often around so someone is at home the vast majority of the time. I want to offer you any service that you require to ensure the happy and healthy life of your pets - whether this be boarding them while you are away on holiday or overnight, visiting them at your home if you are out for a particularly long day, medicating them so you don't miss a dose or walking dogs alone or in the company of other dogs. We live in an end-of-terrace house with a large downstairs that opens on to a fully enclosed garden. All plants are non-toxic and the grass is not precious! Our dogs usually have free access of both house and garden, however there is also space for a crate if required/preferred.

It is important for me to know that your dog is happy and comfortable with other dogs, as although our dogs are very friendly and relaxed, we often have a whole mixture in the house (but not always). Medications are absolutely fine, but of course we need to know timings! Also whether you hare happy for your dog to be walked off-lead, their dietary requirements and what their favourite treats are!
