Hi,
I am a midwife and so I have a very caring and attentive nature.
I grew up with dogs and am looking to eventually buy one. I had a lot of rodents growing up, also ferrets, birds, rabbits, horses, cows, and reptiles, so I am used to caring for a range of different animals.
As you can see I live on a narrowboat in london, I continuously cruise along the Paddington Arm, Regents Canal and the River Lea. As a result I am often moored next to or close to a park or nature reserve, so any dogs that come to stay would be walked regularly and surrounded by green and only small roads.
I move along the canal with a friend who has a cat and they often come over to mine, you can see her in one of the photos.
I would be most happy to care for pets all day and over night, rather than just walking for an hour or so or visiting homes, but I am happy to do both.
The boat is not huge and so, although dogs would be walked regularly, smaller dogs would be prefereable. Due to moving around, indoor cats would be best to care for, although I only move every two weeks, so we could discuss individual preferences.
