DOG WALKING SERVICES ARE CURRENTLY FREE FOR THOSE WHO ARE ADVISED TO SELF ISOLATE BECAUSE OF AGE OR UNDERLYING HEALTH CONDITIONS. I AM ALSO HAPPY TO PICK UP CAT AND DOG FOOD FOR FREE AND ANYTHING ELSE YOU NEED.
Covid-19 safety measures: I always sanitise my hands before entering someone's home. Please wear a face mask during any indoor meetings. I can also do zoom/phone calls instead or we can talk outside. Would be much appreciated if you download track and trace so I can be notified if you develop symptoms after we meet, or notify me yourself if you have symptoms. I've been extra careful by rarely using public transport and only going out for essential shopping and exercise to ensure I can keep looking after your pets and to keep you safe.
My name is Megan and I'm based in the Tooting area of South West London. I have joined Pawshake as a pet sitter because I love animals and I am great at caring for them; I have lots of experience to show that. I've also have completed a first aid course and I regularly refresh my knowledge to ensure I provide the best care for a sick or injured animals. (I always have a pet first aid kit to hand). I also have a Level 3 Diploma in Wildlife Rehabilitation. I have always loved animals and I currently have a cat (called Tas) and I also use to have a gecko so I do have some experience looking after reptiles. My services are available in Tooting and within a 40 min journey. (If you live in these areas it's very likely my services will be available to you: Tooting, Balham, Colliers Wood, South Wimbledon, Mitcham, Earlsfield, Brixton, Streatham & Clapham). I only work in these areas to ensure I have plenty of time to spend with your pet and to also keep the costs low for you - ensuring my services are more accessible.
I also work as a documentary film maker, I use my earnings from the services I provide on Pawshake to fund my film projects about animal conservation which aims to raise money for animal welfare charities. I also work/volunteer for vital animal conservation and rescue organisations as I love working with and helping all animals.
Some more information about my services: My price for dog walking is per hour, and I also offer half hour walks which I feel can be more suited to elderly and smaller dogs. I'll add a 20% discount when you ask for a half hour walk. As I have a timid cat I can't offer dog boarding for multiple days in a row or overnight as that would be upsetting for my cat which is very unfair for her. I am unable to look after cats in my own house as my cat doesn't get along with other cats. My short term dog boarding services include walks so you don't have to pay extra for that. If you have a nervous dog or a young puppy I'm happy to have the dog at mine for a few hours prior to the booking free of charge so that they feel more comfortable. I really look forward to caring for your pet.
If you have any queries please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thanks, Megan Tatham
