I'm a full time, qualified, senior zookeeper. I've made my passion and love for animals my profession, and so I've been working with animals for over 10 years, including pet sitting after hours! I have qualifications in Animal Management and have also completed my DMZAA (diploma in the management of zoo animals and aquaria), as well as courses in wildlife rehabilitation.
I have a lot of experience with exotics, however I LOVE pet sitting in my spare time! I'm trained and experienced giving medications, including injections, and can assist with medical treatments if required; and I'm comfortable dealing with pets with behavioural issues (I am very used to grumpy animals!). I am happy to help look after your cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, reptiles, birds, fish, tarantulas..... Anything!! I can offer occasional dog walking or dog sitting on my days off, however as I work full time this is not always possible.
I am available for pet sitting in the evenings or overnight stays and house sitting, although I could do two visits on my days off. Happy to feed, clean, groom, and spend time with your pet! Please don't hesitate to contact me for a chat to find out more.
I am fully vaccinated.
(P.S. I'm also happy to offer advice for injured/ orphaned wildlife if you need it.) :-)
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Emily’s experienced showed during our meet and greet. She was very friendly, punctual, and kept me updated throughout.
Emily was fantastic
I went away for 12 nights and she looked after my two cats just perfectly. Was in constant communication and she sent pictures along the way that gave me a lot of peace of mind. Would highly recommend.
