My name is Rose and I adore all animals, large or small, furry or slimy, creepy crawly or sleepy and snoring.
I own 2 cats (a tortie and a Bengal), and I keep several species of frogs in bioactive vivariums, as well as fish and praying mantis.
I am originally from Australia where I grew up on a farm in New South Wales, so I am used to looking after large herds of sheep and cattle, as well as 5 very active dogs, and a couple farm cats, as well as wild birds and reptiles that are sick or injured. I also worked at a vetinary clinic as a cage cleaner and vetinary assistant, so I know how to look after sick and injured animals, or animals who need some extra love and care ,and administering medications, changing dressings, etc.
I am happy to either visit your animals once or twice a day, or if you need a full-time sitter in your house, I will also be able to accommodate to this.
I have used Pawshake as a customer before and loved the services my sitter gave me. I understand the need to trust someone to enter your house and look after your precious pets. I will send twice daily pictures and updates whilst you are on holiday so you can trust that your babies are being fed and nurtured. If I am at your house once or twice daily I will usually spend at least half an hour in the house to make sure the animals have eaten properly and to play with them, which lowers their anxieties to a new person in the house with their owners away. Especially if you only have one pet, it's nice to give them some needed company whilst you are away. I will also walk your dogs once or twice daily, clean litter trays, top up food and water for caged animals, and ensure the wellbeing of your animals is taken care of. I am also used to cleaning up after animals if their vomit or have little (or big) accidents in the house. No task is too much effort to ensure your house is kept clean and tidy and your animals are looked after stress-free!
I always leave a house cleaner than I found it. Whther it's doing a quick hoover to clean any cat or dog hair from carpets and floors, washing up and putting away dishes, wipng down surfaces, or a general tidy around the house so you feel welcomed back to your home after you've been away or on holiday.
