Hello pet owners and lovers 💖
My name is Ioana (Jo for short) and I am an avid animal lover and I have been since I was a child. I grew up in the city but I spent most of my weekends and school holidays on my grandma's farm. I pretty much grew up in chicken coops, dog houses, up in the trees, in the fields with the horses or in the sheepfold alongside sheep and sheep dogs.
I always adored dogs and enjoyed the company of cats but my heart has recently been melted by the wittiness, sassiness and cuteness of my daughters' kitten. My daughter had hamsters, budgies and guinea pigs before her heart set on a lil' kitten. We also have another fluffly cat (Princess - inherited name but Ses for short) whom we adopted when she was 4 years old. She was a bit traumatised when we adopted her and my husband and I worked with her well over a year in order to be where we are now with her. She is now happy, less stressed - which manifests by no bitting now and no hissing. Over time, she's learnt to sit on our lap, to ask to be stroked and also likes to cuddle from time to time. She is still skittish and doesn't like too many people around or loud noises and despite lots of kissing she still dislikes it 😀
The lil' 5 month old kitten (Peanut) is adorable and so loveable. She cuddles, plays and she particulary likes cuddling in my hair. She can be naughty and at times rather cheeky.
Sometime last year, whilst in between jobs, I chose to do dog walking during the summer period. I absolutely love all dogs so I enjoyed every minute of last summer. We went for long walks in Oxley Woods, Abeey Wood and the Blackheath Green. We played in the meadows and threw sticks, balls and sometimes stones depending on preferences 😅 My daughter and I sometimes take our neighbour's dog for a short walk, just for fun, as I am not home enough during the day to get a puppy and I trully think that it would shorten Ses's life if we do get one. 😐 So we'll hold off from adding one more family member for now.😋
I would love to look after any of your pets whilst you are enjoying a G&T on a sunny beach or when you last minute book a weekend trip to Paris because you are craving a glass of vintage wine and some delish cheese. I will come over and feed your lil' fluff ball, spend time cuddling and playing with her/him and walk them too (dogs, unless you have a special cat who likes to be walked 😅 ). I will send you photos and videos so you can trully relax on that overdue holiday or focus on that important work trip.
Jo was wonderful with our little cat! She looked after her perfectly - finding time to play with her and give her strokes and attention when she was lonely. I’d highly recommend Jo to anyone looking for someone to care for their beloved pet!
The reason I choose Loana as my cat sitter, if you can believe it it was one of my cat's. I have two cat's, Poppy is a young lady of almost 19 years, but Cici is my little girl of 11 years who choose Loana.
Loana went down to Cici level, which I do with Cici and she loves it.
So for me if the girls like that person, then that is the person for me.
I would highly recommend Loana as a sitter and look after anyone babies from the youngest to the oldest. She cares.
