Originally from Denver, Colorado, I recently moved to London with my British husband. We purchased a flat in Walthamstow, which has been recently refurbished, and while it does not have a backyard it is located one block away from the beautiful St. James Park. We're also a 5-minute walk from the Walthamstow Wetlands, which is the largest urban wetlands in Europe, and a 10-minute drive to Epping Forest. We love dogs and are keen to get our own; however, we travel too much at present and cannot make the commitment. There are also periods of weeks where we're not travelling and either one or both of us are working from home, which we thought would be a great opportunity to spend time with a dog(s), and offer boarding services. We grew up with dogs and absolutely adore being around them, and will treat yours like family!

Most of our calendar availability is Friday-Sunday, because these are days when we know we'll be home. Your dog will likely not be alone at all, or only 30 minutes-1 hour (maximum) during this time. We both have full-time jobs (I provide consulting for start-ups in Waltham Forest, and Kenneth is a Contracts Manager in Central London), but we work from home on Fridays. This means we can also accept doggie drop offs on Thursday evenings, if it is convenient for you. It's only us two in the home - no roommates, guests or pets - so it will be a quiet space for your pooch.

If you board with us, you can come into our home and see where where your dog might want to sleep (i.e., in our room, the spare bedroom, or the main living area), as there is plenty of space. The rate will include at least two walks (1 hour each, 2 hours total) per day, and of course any feeding or medicinal routines that your dog is accustomed to. If your dog is boarded with us over a weekend, we can take them on a mini local adventure in Epping Forest or the Walthamstow Wetlands (2-5 hours of outdoor time), if this is something they might enjoy!
