Hi! Thank you for checking out my listing. I'm new to Pawshake, I will to do my best in making sure all you and your dog's needs are properly cared for. Thank you for your trust in advance!
I'm currently a graduate student in architecture and I live with 2 other graduate school students, so there is always more than one companion at home. Although I'm the main carer, we decide on bookings collectively (for dog board/day care) to make sure we are all comfortable with your dog. We live in a cosy ground floor apartment within walking distance to Regent's Park and Hyde Park. We all grew up with dogs/cats during our childhood, and have family pets back in our hometowns. As our hours in graduate school are flexible, I have some time to dog sit/walk. We are quite active people who use the parks (and regents canal) a lot too for runs, walks, cycles and picnics.
Just to make a disclaimer, I have always dealt with dogs since my teenage days but I am not a professional dog handler.
We live next to a few public gardens where we take the dog out for short talks and wee breaks. We have a good sized common space, kitchen and a spare bedroom room (doors will be left open) where your dog can sleep. The house is clean and carpet free. Heating is good. It is smoke-free. We would prefer potty-trained pups.
Sometimes we take trips outside London to go on long walks, hiking trips. We might be able to take your dog for these walks if we get to know it well in the future/ if you're interested. To be discussed..
Do contact me and I would be happy to have a chat to see if I could be of any help. Ideally I would like to meet your dog before you engage my services, in order to discuss what is best for your dog.
*Pick-ups and drop-offs can be arranged for an extra fee, depending on the distance
