I'm Pooja (also called Jo) and my partner and I are students who live near Canada Water. While I'm doing my PhD in Anthropology at SOAS, my partner is a practising musician and student of music at Goldsmith's.
While both our families have never allowed us to have our own pets at home (except fish and two turtles named Ami and Ima while I used to live in Dubai), we have taken out time to be of assistance to various shelters in India that help with the re-homing of almost all kinds of animals that need homes. Because we couldn't adopt fur babies of our own, we've made it our personal goal to know everything there is to know (I've used all of my research skills there) about dogs and cats and frequently enjoying dog/cat spotting on the streets together.
Our house in the UK at the moment is not very big, so having large dogs over for more than a few days might not be the best idea (for the dog) because we believe in having the space to go anywhere they want. Although, we live in a sweet residential area with lots of green and also some furry friends around if your baby likes friends.
Activities: We love going on long walks together or just by ourselves. We see it as a great way to explore spaces. We enjoy parks, playing sports, running around and also just chilling at home with light music and wrapped in blankets on the couch.
Both of us go to uni on some days during the week but are free on most days. We will also be around during most British holidays.
