Hi, my name is Rachel and I have a strong passion for animals. I have just completed an Animal Management Level 3 Diploma.
I volunteer at Battersea Cats and Dogs home which I adore. Battersea gives me experience working with a huge range of dogs and a variety of behaviours. Helping out at puppy classes has also improved my canine training skills and ability to handle a range of pup personalities!
I am shortly starting a course with the IMDT which will enable me to become an accredited dog trainer. I am very excited to learn more about canine behaviour!
I have owned pets all my life and am comfortable with a large range of species and breeds. I currently own three cats and a tortoise! I have always loved dogs and I am very confident with walking new dogs having previously looked after and cared for several breeds. I am also, of course, more than happy to care for your other wonderful pets- whether they be cats, small fury friends or reptiles.
One of my favourite things to do is dog walk, and I like to have just as much fun as the dog! Being an active person, I really enjoy going for walks and runs in my local parks and nature-centred locations. It would be a joy to have your fury friend join me. I will give your dog all the love and fuss they deserve! :)
Typically, during the week I am unavailable in the day on Mon, Wed, Thurs, and Fri. However, I am often able to complete visits or walks in the morning/evening. During school holidays and summer I am much more available. I am local to some beautiful parks which I know well, and am happy to walk your dog for however long you wish, or even take your dog for a run! Please contact me for further details. :)
I have an Animal Management Level 3 Diploma, in addition to experience working in kennels. I am also DBS-checked.
