I have been raised with cats, rodents and birds and since I moved to London, almost five years ago, I have been missing the comforting sensation of being surrounded by my furry friends.
For this reason, I decided to work as a cat/dogsitter almost a year ago: I am working in a doggy daycare group in Haggerston called “Hackney Hounds” and I personally board, groom and walk any kind of dog in the Hoxton area. I've just recently moved into a very spacious flat right in front of Haggerston Park. I love long walks in the parks and canals surrounding my street and it would be perfect to do so with a four-legged friend.
I usually work from home and I like spending my time surrounded by animals, as I really miss mine. My previous flatmates had two wonderful shelter dogs that taught me how to be patient and caring in any way possible. I can manage most of my workload from home and in front of a laptop/phone, for this reason, I am more than happy to stay home and snuggle with your babies while I am working.
During their daycare your dogs will have: a 20-30 minute walk every hour and they will spend the whole day with me and my partner (who lives with me). We're both absolutely in love with puppies and kittens, so you'll be 100% sure that they will be treated right and with the right amount of love (and snacks, obviously). The pets are allowed to sleep in our bedroom or in the living room (which is close to our bedroom), and the doors will always be left open in order for us to regularly check on them. We also have a small backyard that is fully fenced and safe.
