I have always wanted to help animals and care for them, so in pursuit of my innate love for them I have followed a career in the medical field, working as a Patient Care Assistant for Medivet for almost 2 years. This has allowed me to enthusiastically develop my knowledge regarding crucial aspects such as nutrition, day-to-day procedures and critical care, and allowed me to learn more about the way animals behave and function.
I have been a pet owner from a very young age and I love taking care of animals and making new furry, scaly and feathery friends. I have experience working with rescue charities in my home country, Romania, where I have fostered dogs and cats, and I feel that my dedication for animal welfare and my practical knowledge regarding pets makes me a reliable sitter.
I can offer pet sitting in your own home and 24-hour care if needed, as well as dog walking. As a result of my involvement in the medical environment I have experience orally medicating patients and giving subcutaneous injections, so if your pet needs special treatment you can rest assured that they will be in good hands. I am also able to offer pet sitting for more exotic animals, such as rodents, reptiles or birds. Your precious companion(s) will have a new good friend to keep them safe while you are away from home.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. 7 days before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Doggy day care and Dog walks always have a flexible cancellation policy:
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Anelise was extremely helpful in looking after my cat Pirate at short notice, and kept me well informed about what was happening!
Anelise did a great job of caring for our two special needs cats over a long weekend. She is a genuine person who clearly has a deep love and respect for animals. We would recommend her to anyone and hope to book her services again in the future.
I worked as a Mobile Patient Care Assistant for Medivet Hendon for almost 2 years, during which I have gained valuable experience regarding routine procedures and protocols, the basics of medical care, as well as soft skills.
Some of my duties included monitoring the patient's vital signs while going under sedation or general anaesthesia, so I was able to participate into multiple and various procedures as the nurse responsible for mantaining the patient's safety during the surgery and ensuring a smooth recovery. I have attended day-to-day procedures such as castrations, spays, dental treatments, and even more complicated surgeries, for instance Patella luxations, foreign body removals or shoulder reconstruction.
