Hello!

I'm Sahar, the local Paw Nanny, an experienced and calm carer of all domestic animals while also currently a dedicated mom to 3 cats and 3 dogs, a fat tailed gerbil as well as some axies and fishes. In a nutshell I guess I live in a zoo, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Just like everyone on this website, I'm here because I absolutely adore animals in every shape and size, and I want to be playing with and loving them. As a result, I have rescued various animals over the years with the intention of caring for them while searching for their forever homes. I loved each one of them, however, on three occasions I fell in love just that little bit harder and now they sign birthday and Christmas cards with me haha. Maybe you can imagine how chaotic and full of love bedtime and wake up time is each day.

Having been raised surrounded by curious wet noses, inquisitive whistles and little paws begging for food while demanding attention, I realised very early on that this is pure perfection and utter joy and I want to provide this feeling to as many little babies (non-human only) as possible. In that respect Pawshake provides me with the perfect opportunities to be doing just that.

Our favourite ones, pets or others provide a form of social support which nurtures us both, it's uncomplicated and unconditional and a lot of the time precisely what we need. My little network of Paw Pals needs more members, so here I am doing what I love and what I'm good at.

I can provide dog walking, housesitting and home visits where everyone gets undivid-ed attention. Dogs will be walked for 30 minutes to an hour or more depending on what is required by the parents. Housesitting will be a 24hour plan of cuddles, walks, playtime, feeding as well as include plant watering, fish feeding, mail collection etc. The house will be looked after and cared for. House visits can range from 30 to an hour or more, again depending on what parents have in mind. For each visit, stay or walk, personalised updates with photos and or video clips will be sent to show you how much fun we are having. Walks can be done solo or in groups but will be done in a way to suit the individual dog’s personality as their comfort and safety is of the utmost priority.

Having ran ‘The Paw Nanny’ which was a pet care company, from April 2019 till January 2021I met numerous animals and their wonderful parents and got to love so many souls, both young and old. In doing so I completed a cat and dog first aid course as well as became well versed in understanding animal body languages as well as how to gain the trust of some that just had learnt to be wary of strangers. We all get scared and wary and it's okay, we need to have patience and build trust before we can go anywhere and I am going to dedicate myself till we get there.
