I've always been passionate about animals. I got my bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology from Manchester Metropolitan University, which I completed in 2015.
I completed a pet first aid course in 2019, and am also DBS checked.
I have experience caring for and working all kinds of animals, for which I can provide references, including farm animals and exotics. I'm happy to work with anything from dogs to snakes!
I have previously worked as an animal welfare co-ordinator for a therapy pet organisation. I was responsible for animal care and work with young and vulnerable people, including people with learning difficulties and mental health issues.
I have experience working with difficult pets, such as dogs/cats/rabbits that haven't been socialised and are aggressive or untrained. Most of my own pets are rescues. I also have experience with challenging animals to care for such as exotics.
I am currently based in Rochdale but I am in Manchester alot for work and socializing and so I am more than happy to travel. I am self employed and work from home so the time I can commit is very flexible.
I have four dogs, so I am a very experienced dog walker! Through my experience working with dogs, having my own and also studying animal behaviour at university I can also offer training.
If there is anything you would like to know, ask away. My own pets include : 4 dogs, 16 chickens, 2 rabbits, 3 turtles, 2 praying mantis, stick insects, 3 giant African land snails and a cat. I am happy to send a copy of my CV which goes into more details about my experience and qualifications. :)
Nadya did a great job of looking after our cat Hobnob while we were away. She sent regular updates and we were able to relax, knowing that Hobnob was in good hands. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nadya's pet-sitting services to others.
Nadya has looked after our two terriers brilliantly! All good and positive. The dogs loved her and she has been a pleasure. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending .. thank you Nadya 🐾🐾
