Hi I'm Tia, 26 and live in Manchester.
I've always been passionate about animals and have owned a variety over the years. From dogs, cats and hamsters to lizards and insects.
I have a bachelors degree in Wildlife Biology that I obtained in 2015. During my degree, I did a lot of work and research on Animal Behaviour. I even did my dissertation on the level and type of play in Western Lowland Gorillas!
I've done a variety of animal volunteering over the years including at The Donkey Sanctuary. I was also part of an Ecology surveying team where I assisted in the relocation of Great Crested Newts.
I currently own a 6-year-old chihuahua called Ceech. Therefore I have a lot of experience with small, nervous, misbehaving dogs.
I'm available to do dog walks, house sitting and daily visits. I own a car so I am flexible when it comes to the location, as I am able to travel further distances if needed.
I know everyone's pets are important and special to them. They become part of your family, and i know that them being comfortable and happy whilst away from you is all you want.
I also have a recent DBS check you can request if needed.
I hope to hear from you and best friends very soon! :)
We had the honour of being Tia’s first clients on Pawshake and she can now say she has a recurring client.
Tia looked after our Tabby cat Maggie for 3 days between Christmas and New Year. The daily photos she sent us proved how happy our cat was, which is our priority when we’re away.
We recommend Tia to look after your cat, and hop she’ll be free to look after Maggie again in the near future.
