Being a student in Manchester, nearly halfway across the world from my hometown, Malaysia has made me super homesick. And one thing I miss most about home is my pets. I have 8 loving dogs: 4 mixed pom-chis, 3 street dogs that we adopted, one Rottweiler and 2 cats: mother and daughter, that we saved from drowning in a drain by the roadside.

Though here in Manchester, there are no strays for me to save, which I feel grateful as it means most of the animals here have loving homes and families, I still want to help out with the caring for these adorable creatures. And then I found this site, Pawshake which provides me with the perfect platform to offer my help, be close to pets and get paid for doing something I love.

I currently stay in a shared apartment flat that does not allow pets so I will not be able to offer animal boarding in my home. However, i’d gladly offer to do dog walking, house visits and will be happy to do the little odd jobs in the house too like watering your plants and collecting junk mail etc. My hours are pretty flexible as I can manage my timetable well and can take on responsibilities.
