Hi, I’m Alessa, I’m a fourth year vet med student and I love spending time both with dogs and cats and have lots of experience in taking care of them.

My German Shepherd Alfie is at my parents' house and can be reactive to other dogs, so I have a lot of experience controlling large dogs on walks. I love spending time with dogs and taking them on walks as I miss my dog when I'm away at university and so would love to be able to take care of any dogs myself, giving them cuddles, walks or playing any games!

I've grown up with many different pets my whole life, from rabbits, degus, hamsters, fish, turtles, frogs, cats, lizards and snakes. I also have experience with ferrets, from having one of my own. I also have owned two cats and have a lot of experience with them

I’ve worked at a dog boarding kennels for three years on and off and so am used to many different breeds and temperaments of dog - both walking, giving medication and playing with. I’m usually available on weekdays in the daytime and at weekends. (I usually have non-compulsory lectures 1-4). I live in Guildford and don't own a car at the moment so unfortunately cannot travel to all places to dog-sit so availability may depend on your location.

I am passionate about both mental and physical stimulation for all dog breeds. Your pet can sleep on the sofa, bed or on any bed you wish to give me. I also have a few blankets which I am happy to put out for them to snuggle into - whatever you prefer! I have a field nearby to me which I usually take dogs on walks to, it's not next to any main roads and there are usually no other dogs around.
