Hello, I’m Cassie!

My love for animals began when I was young, growing up with a variety of pets—including mice, insects, fish, cats, dogs, rabbits, and hamsters! As soon as I was old enough, I started helping my mum with dog walking, and I also walked neighbours' dogs while they were at work.

At around six years old, I discovered my love for horses through riding lessons, and from that point on, I knew I wanted a career working with animals.

My first full-time job in animal care was at a Kennels and Cattery, which looked after both boarding pets and seized dogs. Having grown up with an Alaskan Malamute, I was already confident with large breeds, but this role gave me even more hands-on experience with strong and complex temperaments.

To deepen my knowledge, I went on to study Animal Science at university and graduated with a First-Class Degree. During this time, I also volunteered at the RSPCA, Blue Cross, and Glendee Rescue Kennels.

In 2018, I joined Pawshake and began offering pet care services professionally. Since then, I’ve provided care for a wide range of pets—not just for clients, but also for friends and family. I'm confident with all animals, regardless of size or temperament, and I have several years of experience with horses, including owning my own. I'm happy to care for farm animals too!

I’m also experienced and comfortable administering medication when needed.

Currently, I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to provide reliable and consistent care. I available after work in the week and anytime on the weekends. I share my home with two lovely cats, Snowy and Nacho, and I also own a horse named Pablo. If you're looking for help with your horse or another animal, please reach out, as I can help :)

Every animal I care for is treated as if they were my own. I offer cuddles, playtime, feeding, companionship, and daily updates with photos—people often tell me I take the best pet pictures!

I'm extremely flexible, happy to help last-minute, and always aim to accommodate your pet’s individual needs.
