Hi, thank you for reading my profile!
I am originally from Italy and I have been living and working in London for the past 27 years.
During the day, I work in the public sector and in my spare time I do what I love most: I spend time rescuing cats and looking after them. I also work closely with the local vets and cat charities (Medivet and Cats Protection Harrow) and I often help them to hand-rear abandoned kittens or foster stray cats before they can find a forever home.
I have had cats all my life and I am currently "owned" by 5 rescue cats: Leo, Lola, Rum & Cola and Moomin :-)
Rest assured that I will look after your cat or cats as I would do with mine, feed them, cuddle them, play with them and I will make sure that their litter is always clean but most importantly I will love them on your behalf whilst you are away.
I offer a free of charge "meet and greet" meeting before the booking starts so you get to know me and more importantly I will introduce myself to your furry baby and understand his/her routines and needs before we get to spend time together. Whilst you are away, I will be sending you loads of pictures, videos and updates about your kitties so that you never feel you are too far away from them.
I am also happy to look after house plants and collect mail whilst you are away.
House gardens can be watered for an additional £5 per visit.

Mari is very reliable and wonderful cat sitter. On this visit really appreciate her flexibility to accommodate us and visit on another day as our plans changed last minute. Highly recommend !
What can one say about the marvelous Mari? We are extremely careful when choosing someone to look after our cats and with Mari we really struck gold. From our first communication with her and the first "face to face" meeting through to our actual trip abroad (and subsequent return home) She has been friendly, professional and she clearly loves cats to pieces (and trust me, ours can be a real hot handful!) We very sadly lost one of our three just before the trip and Mari was extremely sensitive and understanding with both ourselves and also (very importantly!) in her treatment of the other two who would obviously have been feeling the loss as much as us. She sent us videos every day which was extremely reassuring as well as a full report of her visit. Also, the house was spotless when we got home (hardly any litter on the floor - and that's quite an achievement as ours tend to do the can - can when leaving the litter boxes!) and she also not only changed the litters but she also CLEANED the litter boxes (like we do)
Finally, I'm a bit worried about leaving this review because we go away quite a lot and we don't want her constantly booked up so we can't book her!!
Seriously, if you are in need of a conscientious, caring, friendly, professional cat sitter, you really need look no further! Mari is the very best
