My motivation for pet sitting is that I am an anim lover through and through. Growing up I was constantly surrounded by animals; whether it was the horses that lived in the fields behind my house, the cats and dog we had at home or the animals at my grandparents houses, I loved them all. Some of my fondest memories growing up was the long walks up on the moors, where we lived, with my grandad and his dog.

I work as a training hairdressing apprentice in a dog friendly salon. This means that the other stylists do often bring their own dogs into work with them. Because we bring our dogs into the salon, whilst I am at work the responsibility to walk, feed and make sure they have enough water often falls to me if the other stylists are busy and I always cherish the moments of walking them in the local park.

Currently, at home, I only have one cat, who is 11 years old, called Sunny. She is my little sweetheart and more often than not follows me around the house. We got her when she was only 8 weeks old from the RSPCA and was the cutest little thing I have ever seen (she still is)! She is quite the timid cat, and al thought she would never attack any other animal, she if afraid of them, which is why I have chosen to only allow pet sitting in the owners home and not my own.
