Camilla

Hi, I'm Camilla and I live with my husband in Haywards Heath. I have always loved animals and grew up with a dog. My husband John is the same, he grew up with always having family dogs.

We have a dog called Mabel and a cat called Opie. Both are great with other dogs, but we need to make sure that dogs we look after don't have a strong prey instinct to want to be too friendly with Opie! We have a huge garden and I work from home so I am set up to look after any dogs that need some company during the day.

We walk Mabel twice a day so any dogs we look after would be welcome on those walks! Opie is almost 13 and is very tolerant of other dogs, and Mabel is too. She is only 2.5 years old and loves playing with a ball or a stick more than anything!

Our home has a huge garden, which is secure, and we have a big open-plan kitchen where I work, hence having the space to look after dogs during the day. We would eventually like to look after dogs overnight but thought we should start with the day minding. We live on a busy road (busy for Haywards Heath!) but the back garden and house is totally secure, we can hardly hear the traffic.

I have a keen interest in dog training and have taken Mabel to do some agility classes which we both loved!
