We offer dog sitting in our large ground floor flat, providing your dog with loving care, lots of play and cuddles as well as walks in the woods very near us. We do not have our own dog at the moment but do sometimes foster rescue dogs.
Previous fosters shown in the photos are Leo who was so chilled out shortly after arriving home with us, and the absolutely gorgeous but a bit worried looking Cooper, offlead in the woods. And a few from recent dog-sitting - Dillon, Sully, Teddy. And one of the little cutie, Dobbie, who we fostered late last year - this picture was sent to us by his adopters. Gorgeous aren't they all?
Over the last four years we have gained lots of experience in looking after dogs and also in making a dog feel comfortable and secure in our home. We have provided dogsitting for previous fostered dogs when their owners have been away, and recently for a friend's two dogs, a bull terrrier and a staffy, and can provide references if required. Please be aware we may have to decline bookings for any uneutered adult dogs, this could be because we are fostering, but we will of course give any potential booking proper consideration.
The dog sitting can sometimes be just a day but we are finding that most of our bookings are for longer periods such as when people go away for a long weekend or a week or two on holiday which is what we prefer. We now have many repeat bookings and are delighted that dog owners are happy to have us look after their pets again.
Amber had a lovely time with Anne and Kathryn. I had every confidence in them as it was clear that they were very caring and knowledgeable. Communication was quick and reliable, and we met up, both before and after I made the booking, including (at their suggestion) a visit to their home, so that Amber could get to know them and to discuss arrangements. And while Amber was staying with them they sent me daily WhatsApp messages and photos/videos to keep me in touch with what she was up to. She was a happy doggy.
This was Lucy’s 2nd holiday with Anne and her daughter Kathryn.
Lucy did not hesitate in leaving me and going with Anne, which was a very reassuring start to my holiday.
Anne sent me photos/videos daily, which I was extremely grateful to receive.
Lucy is almost 14 and a half, and is on tablets twice a day for ongoing health problems.
Anne is very caring, and followed my instructions fully.
When I collected Lucy, she was very relaxed and it was obvious that she was very happy being with Anne and Kathryn.
Lucy is already booked to stay at her holiday home for a long weekend in March.
I am so pleased that I have found Anne & Kathryn. Knowing Lucy is having a good holiday makes more relaxed on my holiday!
Lucy and I recommend Anne & Kathryn wholeheartedly.
