Hello! 

Our names are Cassie and Tom

We have both grown up around cats; we’ve both had cats all our lives. We currently have 2 of our own too.

We’ve both house sat for our family members whilst they’ve been away as well as done 23 sits so far already for non family members. 

We understand the need for a trust worthy, caring sitter for your pet when you go away because we also are proud owners to two cats. We love your cat as we do our own when you are away.

Cassie:

- When growing up, had 4 cats in her family home.

- Helped her parents look after their 3 kittens when they arrived home & continue to care for them.

- Cared for her senior cat with FIV for 3 years.

- She administered medication (from eye drops to oral medicine) & specialist food for him. Sadly he passed away in 2021 but she went on to rescue two new cats with Tom that we still have now.

- competent with indoor cats and with rare breeds of cats such as Bengals, Maine Coones (brushing fur), Sphinx cats (keeping them warm with jumpers), Ragdolls (indoor only) too. 

- Cassie has grown up around horses as she started horse riding at the age of 8 & started to loan/own horses. Unfortunately owning a horse of her own isn’t an option at the moment but 

tries to spend as much time as she can with friends horses at our local stables. Loves to compete in one day eventing & hopes to return to this one day. This wouldn’t be a problem if you needed your horse seeing to too.

- At the stables where we kept the family horses, there were 3 dogs (beagle, springer & Romanian rescue) so is very used to dogs too.

Has sat for a range of dog breeds such as Poodles, Chihuahuas, Chow Chow, Husky, Dalmation, Pomeranian, Corgi, Greyhounds and more!

- Has also owned fish and rats

- In 2021-2022 has worked in a referral veterinary practice as an theatre technician where primarily looked after sterile services for the hospital but around this, assisted care for unwell cats and dogs around the hospital from prep to kennels and imaging (caring for dogs of all sizes up to Great Danes and Bernese Mountains dogs!). Has gained knowledge on pet handling, animal care & basic first aid. This is the career she will hopefully pursue again soon!

- Has now completed her pet first aird certificate.

Tom: 

- Looks after his mums Bengal cat when she is away so is used to raw feed routines and unique species of cats.

- Helped to care for Cassie’s FIV cat Rambo. 

- Owns 2 domestic long hair cats with Cassie now 

- Has owned hamsters so is used to smaller animals and their needs 

- Tom has hugely helped Cassie caring for her parents two horses over the years so is horse aware 

We have both now looked after Chickens through another sitting platform too.
