I'm a retired home maintenance contractor, with time on my hands to now do something I love, which is being with animals. I adore dogs of all shapes and sizes, having two of my own back in the USA, Khloe a Great Dane and Lilly a Golden Retriever. Completing the trio of pets, is the boss of the house, my beautiful ginger cat Esme.

I'm unable to take pets in my apartment here, so home visits and 24hr house sitting, are the two areas I can help you with. I'm happy to care for animals of all types and have considerable experience with rabbits, both indoor and outdoor, having two magnificent New Zealand Reds, also back in the USA.

Being retired, I'm very flexible regarding times for home visits, trying my utmost to fit in around times that are best for you and your pets. My minimum for home visits is 30 minutes, during which time I will treat them as if they were my own pets, as well as following your instructions to the letter. I'm happy to carry out light grooming, administer non-injectable meds and attend to toilet duties, which includes cleaning up any little accidents, as well as changing litter trays. After that there will be play time. Any small household tasks will always be considered.

House sitting is, in my opinion, 24 hr care for your pets and your home. Although, I'm very happy to discuss any other options that you would prefer and thereby coming up with a plan that suits both you and your animals. I include walking your dogs twice a day during house sitting, but due to me being in my 60's, I would not feel comfortable doing any off lead exercise, nor walking any large breads that are not fully trained to heel.

Having been a home maintenance contractor for over 30 years, I am very used to being in clients homes unsupervised. Security is paramount and always on my mind when in your home and I like to draw up an agreed checklist in this regard. Also, because of my background, there will be no panic or emergency calls should any small household issues arise.

I do not want to make a full time living from this, I just wish to help alleviate the worry for both animals and their humans, when the time arises for them to be seperated from each other temporarily.
