My name is Meaghan and I am a 21 year old veterinary student now in my fourth year at The Royal Veterinary College. I'm looking to have even more contact with animals during the times at which I'm not studying. I have extensive experience with a variety of animals after undertaking a large amount of work experience for veterinary school. I spent several months volunteering with the PDSA so have extensive handling experience with both dogs (small and large) and cats.
I have always lived with animals - I currently own two lovely cats and two German Shepherds but have always been around a range of dogs, from Great Danes to small Yorkshire Terriers. I am also able to handle small furries such as hamsters or guinea pigs after previously having owned rats myself.
Unfortunately, I am unable to offer daycare at my own home as I am living in university halls of residence but am very happy to sit all types of animals in your home, also staying overnight if required. I am happy to give your dog (or cat if you so wish!) a bath and aid with any training if you have puppies.
Living in Potters Bar means there are lots of places to take dogs on walks, or I can stick to your regular area if you would prefer the routine of this. Your pets will be in very good hands of a soon to be vet!
Meaghan was an excellent pet sitter to my 3 pet rats! I loved getting daily updates and pictures of them during their daily visit. It was very reassuring knowing they were in safe hands with Meaghan - especially being a third year veterinary student. She was a very professional, a clear communicator and very easy to get on with. Would highly recommend! I have already booked Meaghan again for my next weekend trip away :)
This is a long overdue review for the wonderful Meaghan. She was fantastic with all of our animals (horses, dogs, cat and chickens) and it meant we could truly relax and enjoy our holiday. We had regular updates and she happily did everything we asked. Thank you Meaghan x
