I am an outdoorsy, animal loving pet service through my own pretty in pink business, ‘Purrs And Tails’. Being a member of a well-known online dog walking community, I volunteered my time to walk both friends’ and strangers’ dogs through lockdown. It was from this, I realised this is what I wanted as a job. For that reason you can be assured that you are booking a new companion for your pet, not just a business. When I got married, we lived on a farm where there was a beautiful German Shepherd puppy who wasn’t small for very long. We had an open-door policy for her, no matter the weather and if she was on heat or not. I am not afraid of mud or rain and love being outside.
I am very confident with animals but always respect their space. Having grown up always having cats and cat sitting, I am very comfortable with these feline friends, so you know your cat will be safe with me. As for dogs, to say that I am a fan, would be an understatement.
I currently am working 3 days a week for a charity on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10am-3pm. My services on these days are available between 8am-9am and 3.30pm - 6pm.
On Tuesdays, I am available 8am-6pm and Thursdays until 5.30pm. I currenlty only walk dogs of the same household on group walks, and no more than 4 at a time.
I offer drop in visits that can be 30minutes and cover changing the food and water bowls, litter trays, bringing in post, and most importantly, giving attention to your pet. I am fully insured with Protectivity Insurance.
I do work weekends at a slighlty higher rate (+£2 per service) and bank holidays (2x rate) and subject to availablity so please just get in touch to discuss this. The first 10 miles are free for me to come to you and after that, I just ask for 45p per mile to cover travel.
