I have been working in childcare for the last 7 years and have been cat sitting for the passed 2 years. I would say the two go hand in hand- for both jobs you need to be honest, trust worthy, kind and caring!
I have owned cats and dogs my whole life and come from a pet loving family! I have experience with both friendly, outgoing cats as well as shy and timid ones! I have a lot of experience looking after dogs as I grew up with my own yorkshire terrier girl called Bella and also have a close relationship with my mums dog Lola who is a gentle and bubbly cocker spaniel who I look after overnight quite frequently!
I am available to come to your home and care for your pet, following their exact routine. I think this is vital in making sure your beloved pet feels calm and relaxed while you are away as this can be an already anxious time for them and so following their established routine is key! I am already doing this for pet owners through another pet sitting app and I am used to specific requests such as weighing your animals food or adding medication to their food, etc. A meet and greet is a perfect time for us to discuss what works well for your animal 🥰
I have developed some great relationships with cat owners in my local area through another well known app who I privately sit for on an ongoing basis and hope to expand that through Pawshake in the hopes of being able to continue pet sitting regularly as it brings me lot's of joy!
