I'm Eliza, a 29 year old medical journalist based in Hackney. I'm originally from Cheshire and grew up with dogs and other pets (guinea pigs, a horse, even a chinchilla!) and I miss being able to look after a pet while living in the city.

I'd love to take care of your beloved pet — I love both dogs and cats and have experience caring for both. I know that not all pets like being cuddled and have experience with anxious pets. One of the dogs I grew up with, Percy, had severe epilepsy and anxiety which taught me how to care for a pet with difficulties.

My parents have always had quite boisterous dogs, including my mum's English bull terrier, Wilf, who is currently 4 but still acts like a puppy.
