About Emma
So hey! My name's Emma and I’m here to make your time away from your pet stress free, knowing that they’re in safe hands. I send regular picture updates and videos to let you know how we’re getting on and am happy to help out with odd things around the house such as watering plants and bringing in the post.
I've grown up with pets (7 cats and 2 rabbits) since the day I was born so to me a house isn't really home without one!
About me, I have just come back from 15 months of travelling SE Asia and Oceania hence the big gap in bookings but am keen to get back to doing what I love - looking after the pets of London. I consider myself quite a sociable and creative person. I moved to London in 2016 and have been pet sitting since 2017 here.
Essential info: I am officially the pet whisperer and can offer the best cuddles. It seems that I also make a great bed/chair and am often left unable to move for fear of waking the ball of fur asleep on me. For me, pet sitting is more than just a way to earn some extra money but is a fun way of getting to spend time with lots of lovely animals. This is ideal as I don’t have a pet of my own in London and am constantly missing my families cats at home! It’s a great way to explore different areas of London too.
I’m happy to provide all services, especially whilst working from home so my office can be anywhere! My availability is pretty good and on some working days I can be home all day with your pet and will never leave them alone for longer than suggested by yourself. With home visits I usually stay for however long the owner has requested, sometimes a little longer if playtime is too much fun!
House sitting: The amount of time spent at the home varies from job to job depending on the animals needs but if I'm WFH I am obviously about all day and occasionally have evening and weekend plans that I will work around the pets best interests. I always double lock all doors and am very security concious when living in someone else's home, moreso that at my own flat probably!
Dog walking: Walks are for an average of 30 min - 1 hour depending on the dog's needs and I can usually offer 2 a day if the owners are local to me.
Home Services aka day care and boarding at my home:
There are 2 of us that live in my flat and there are no pets of our own here. Guest pets are allowed to sleep in the communal areas such as the kitchen and living room and my bedroom. As a flat, we don't have a garden, only a small balcony. There is communal greenery all around us though as well as some decent parks/commons.
The amount of pets I can board at the same time usually depends on the size and demands of each pet although I don't board pets from multiple households at once in case they don't get along of course!
I have administered oral medication before but am open to administering other types if the owner gives me a thorough walkthrough.
If you’re trying to keep a meat free household you’ll be happy to hear that I am a vegetarian.
