Hi, I’m Sophie! 🐾

I’m originally from NZ and recently moved to London, where I’m based in Islington. I’m a registered social worker specialising in supporting children and young people, and alongside my work, I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pets.

Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats and truly miss my two cats who are back home in NZ with my family. I’ve been actively involved in animal rescue and volunteer work, particularly with organisations like the SPCA. My experience includes rescuing, caring for, and rehabilitating feral and wild cats, as well as helping to design educational programs that taught children about compassion and responsible pet care.

Back home, I had a number of regular clients through Pawshake and loved building long-term relationships with both the pets and their owners. Since moving to the UK, I’ve had to restart my account, as Pawshake profiles don’t transfer from NZ to England, but I’m excited to connect with new clients here and continue doing what I love.

My partner and I enjoy morning and evening walks and are lucky to live near several beautiful parks. I’m available for dog walking, cat visits, pet visits, and overnight stays, and I hold a current DBS check for your peace of mind.
