Hello 👋 My name is Sophie, I'm a responsible and caring 26 year old from New Zealand, looking to take care of some pups in London 🐶 

I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life, learning to look after animals from a young age. My family labrador was recently put to rest at the beginning of the year so now more than ever I am wanting to look after some doggos. This has left me heartbroken and being so far from home, I miss the company of pet. I am looking for opportunities with open arms to take care of your beloved best friends 🐾 

I enjoy walking and running in the outdoors - particularly exploring new areas and parks in London and I'm hoping to find the company of a dog to join me. I work as a freelance graphic designer, so I'm often around at home and your dog will have my full attention and company! 

Other than my family dogs, I've taken care of many other pets of all kinds of breeds, ages and sizes (dogs and cats) for friends and mutual connections for short and long period stays. I am a confident dog handler with a trustworthiness that'll ensure your pups get the best quality care, love and attention they need!

What I can offer:

⭐️ Walking + playing: I'm a highly active person, so if your dog is energetic and loves to walk/run I am happy to go on walks for 1-2 hours up to twice a day. I enjoy going for 5-10km runs and have become a well seasoned ball thrower / tug of war opponent. I'm equally happy to go for shorter, leisurely walks for smaller or elderly dogs.

⭐️ Grooming: I've had lots of experience in washing and brushing dogs to make sure they are clean and dry especially after muddy walks! 

⭐️ Medication: I am confident in administering oral medicine, with ample experience in giving tablets to dogs in the past as required and following strict schedules. This has included vet visits and also ensuring they consume their medication properly.

⭐️ Daycare: I am happy to take care of your dog for full or half days or even a couple hours if necessary. I can be flexible and available weekdays, weekends or evenings. 

⭐️ Home stay: If you are based in the central London area I can do overnight stays for short or extended periods. I am a house proud person, respectful of rules and attentive to anything your dog needs to feel comfortable at home. I'd take care of your place like it was my own and happy to clean, tidy and tend to plants too!

Location

I am located in E1, Bow, near Victoria Park. I am happy to do drop off and pick ups if it is in the vicinity. I live in a smoke-free, spacious 3-story townhouse that is securely fenced within a key fob gated Mews and a large courtyard area. I live only a 5 minute walk to Victoria Park in East London and a short distance to a neighbourhood green square where there are regular dog meet ups. I will fully devote my attention and time to taking great care of your dog.
