I am a pet-sitter with seven years' experience based in Islington, North London, offering all-day and overnight sits in your home.
I grew up with three pet cats, and started pet-sitting in 2016 when I was at university studying creative writing. For my first booking, I spent two weeks taking care of three cats, a dog and a snake! Since then, I have had the good fortune to look after many more animal friends, ranging from a pair of Clapham housecats to a pack of five dogs in rural Spain. My longest assignment, looking after two cats and two dogs in Kent, lasted three years. My husband and I now continue to care for those same pets in our own home.
I also hire a pet-sitter when my husband and I go away, so I've experienced the owner's side of the pet-sitting relationship, too. I approach every pet-sitting job knowing how much trust is placed in a pet-sitter, how vital it is to have clear and swift communication, and what a relief it is to return from a trip and find your home and pet(s) thoroughly well cared for. I am a mindful and detail-oriented person, and I will follow any instructions you give exactly as you set out.
I am experienced in all aspects of day-to-day care for dogs and housecats, including feeding, walking, light grooming, administering medication, liaising with vets, and of course giving plenty of attention and cuddles. Medical conditions that I'm experienced in caring for include canine epilepsy, Shar Pei fever, eye infections, ear infections, hot spots, and gastrointestinal illness. I've looked after pets in every age category, as well as nervous pets.
I did much of my previous pet-sitting with my husband through a different website (geared toward pet-sitters traveling around the world rather than being based in a particular location as I am now, in London) so I am still building my Pawshake sitter profile and reviews. In the meantime, I am happy to supply references upon request.
The services I offer are overnight pet-sitting in your home (a full day and night of pet care) and daytime pet-sitting in your home (this includes up to 10 hours of company for your pet in your home and one walk - please book this as 'one home visit').
Aside from pet-sitting I am a freelance writer and editor so I will always be working from home while looking after your pets.

We used Radha whilst we went abroad to get married. Honestly the best decision I ever made. I had absolutely no anxiety at all, regular updates and photos and Radha is just an all around lovely person. If I could rate higher than 5 star I would.
